Any subscription to a holiday implies full acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale.
The sale of holidays offered by Karellis Réservation is governed by Law No. 2009-888 of 22 July 2009 laying down the conditions for the exercise of activities relating to the organisation and sale of travel or holidays by Order No. 2017-1717 of 20 December 2017 transposing Directive (EU) 2015/2302 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 on package travel and related travel services.
Karellis Réservations has taken out professional civil liability insurance with HISCOX. It cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from force majeure or from a third party. Karellis Reservations is the client’s interlocutor and is responsible to the client for the execution of the obligations arising from these conditions of sale.
Certain types of accommodation require a minimum or maximum number of occupants. For example, in the case of connecting family rooms, the minimum number of occupants is 4. If the room is occupied by 3 people, a supplement will be charged by Karellis Réservation. The supplement depends on the Club hotel chosen (% on the price of the stay or fixed amount). Please contact Karellis Réservation for further information. The information contained in the documents published by Karellis Réservation may be subject to certain modifications. The client will be informed of any such changes prior to the conclusion of the contract (with the exception of services that are only available during certain seasons or may be closed, modified or withdrawn without notice for technical or climatic reasons). The accommodation provider may ask you to pay a deposit (see the general terms and conditions of sale of the accommodation provider you have chosen). Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
All prices shown are in Euros (€) and include all taxes.
The prices appearing in the documents published by Karellis Réservation cannot be revised after the reservation has been made, except in the event of changes in the fees and taxes relating to the services offered. Once the reservation has been confirmed, Karellis Réservation cannot apply any reductions or special offers retroactively.
3.3.1. For bookings made by the customer more than thirty (30) days before the start date of the holiday selected, the booking made by the customer must be accompanied by payment of the deposit referred to below. The booking of a holiday will not be final until :
Receipt and collection by Karellis Réservation of a deposit of 30% of the total price of the holiday (in euros, all taxes included), plus booking fees, tourist tax and any insurance premium.
Options are valid for 7 working days. If payment is not received within this period, the option will be automatically cancelled and the availability of the chosen holiday can therefore no longer be guaranteed.
The balance of the price of the holiday must be paid no later than the thirtieth (30th) day before the start date of the Customer’s holiday. This payment must be accompanied by the booking reference. If the balance of the price of the holiday is not paid within the aforementioned period, the reservation may be cancelled by Karellis Réservation under the terms and conditions set out in the cancellation conditions below and no discount (including holiday vouchers) will be applied.
3.3.2. For bookings made by the Client less than thirty (30) days prior to the start date of the selected holiday: The Client must pay, without delay, the total price of the holiday (in euros including VAT), plus booking fees and tourist tax. The booking of a holiday will only be definitive once Karellis Réservation has received and cashed the Client’s payment and Karellis Réservation has sent the holiday confirmation.
For any holiday ordered less than 30 days in advance, Karellis Réservation reserves the right to refuse an option without immediate payment by credit card.
3.3.3. Deposits, balances and holiday prices may be paid as follows:
In the case of payment by ANCV holiday vouchers, these must be sent to us by post. Karellis Réservation strongly advises you to send your cheques by recorded delivery with acknowledgement of receipt, and to note the numbers of the holiday vouchers sent. Karellis Réservation cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of holiday vouchers.
Bank cheques are not accepted for payments made less than thirty days before the start of the holiday.
All payments must be made in Euros (€). Any bank charges relating to the means of payment used shall be borne by the customer, who expressly agrees to do so. If payment is not accepted, the booking will be cancelled.
Karellis Réservation endeavours to provide the most accurate information possible concerning the accommodation and services offered. Descriptions and visuals are given for information only and have no contractual value. They are updated regularly. This cannot be a reason for cancellation or complaint. Karellis Réservation cannot be held responsible in any way for the failure of a partner (accommodation provider or service provider) during the holiday, cases of force majeure, acts of God, strikes or the actions of any person whose performance is unrelated to the organisation of the holiday. Karellis Reservation will not reimburse or compensate the Client for any cancellation of one or more services.
All total or partial cancellations must be notified by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the following address: SACMAC Centrale de Réservations – Station Les Karellis – Le Forum – 73 870 Montricher Albanne, or by e-mail to i[email protected] ATTENTION: the date on which the cancellation request is taken into account will be the date on which the insured declares the event to the central reservation office, and not the date of the event triggering the cancellation. Any modification is valid only after acceptance by the reservation centre of an agreement formalised by the sending of an amendment or a new contract. Any change to the dates of stay, accommodation or ancillary services may be billed at €15 per change.
In the event that the reservation file is modified on an essential element or cancelled by the Central Reservations Office, the client must, within 8 days of being informed in writing, either cancel the reservation (in which case the client will be reimbursed) or accept the proposed modification (written and signed reply). If there is no response within this period, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the modification.
No refunds or reductions will be given for late arrivals or early departures.
Karellis Reservation offers you the opportunity to take out comprehensive Cancellation – Interruption of stay – Rescue on the slopes insurance with its partner Gritchen Affinity. The cost of this insurance is 3.1% of the total cost of the holiday. It allows you to be reimbursed for all sums withheld by Karellis Reservation in the event of cancellation, excluding the cost of the insurance, and in accordance with the guarantee conditions. It also covers you in the event of interruption of your stay or an accident on the slopes (search and rescue costs, repatriation).
