General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Any subscription to a holiday implies full acceptance of the general conditions of sale.

The sale of holidays offered by Karellis Réservation is governed by law n°2009-888 of 22 July 2009 setting the conditions for the exercise of activities relating to the organisation and sale of travel or holidays by order n°2017-1717 of 20 December 2017 transposing Directive (EU) 2015/2302 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 on package travel and related travel services

1. GENERAL AND CONTRACTUAL RELATIONS

Karellis Réservation has taken out professional liability insurance with HISCOX. It cannot be held responsible for damage caused by force majeure or by a third party. Karellis Réservation is the customer's contact and is responsible to the customer for the execution of the obligations arising from these conditions of sale.

2. HOLIDAY

Some types of accommodation require a minimum or maximum number of occupants. For example, in the case of connecting family rooms, the minimum number of occupants is 4. In the case of a 3-person occupancy, a supplement will be charged by Karellis Réservation. The supplement depends on the Hotel Club chosen (% of the price or fixed amount). Please contact Karellis Réservation for more information. The information contained in the documents published by Karellis Réservation may be subject to certain modifications. The customer will be informed of this prior to the conclusion of the contract (with the exception of services that are only open during certain seasons or may be closed, modified or cancelled without notice for technical or weather reasons). A deposit may be required by the accommodation provider (see general terms and conditions of sale of the chosen accommodation provider). Animals are not accepted in the accommodation.

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT

3.1. PRICE

All prices displayed are in Euros (€) and include all taxes

3.2. PRICE REVISION

The prices appearing in the documents published by Karellis Réservation can only be revised after the booking in the event of a variation in the fees and taxes relating to the services offered. Once a booking has been confirmed, Karellis Réservation cannot apply discounts and one-off promotional offers retroactively.

3.3. TERMS OF PAYMENT

3.3.1. For bookings made by the customer more than thirty (30) days before the start date of the selected holiday, the booking made by the customer must be accompanied by payment of the deposit referred to below. The booking of a holiday will only be final after:

Receipt and collection by Karellis Réservation of a deposit of 30% of the total price of the holiday (in euros including VAT), plus booking fees, tourist tax and any insurance premium.

The options are valid for 7 working days. If the payment is not received within this period, the booking will automatically be cancelled and the availability of the chosen holiday cannot be guaranteed.

Payment of the balance of the price of the holiday must be made at the latest on the thirtieth (30th) day before the start date of the customer's holiday. This payment must be accompanied by the order reference. If the balance of the price of the holiday is not paid within the above-mentioned period, the booking may be cancelled by Karellis Réservation under the terms and conditions set out in the cancellation conditions below and no discount (including holiday vouchers) will be applied.

3.3.2. For bookings made by the customer less than thirty (30) days before the start date of the selected holiday:

The customer must pay the total price of the holiday (in euros including VAT), plus the booking fee and tourist tax, without delay. The booking of a holiday will only be definitive once Karellis Réservation has received and cashed the customer's payment and sent the holiday booking confirmation. For any holiday ordered less than 30 days in advance, Karellis Réservation reserves the right to refuse an option without immediate payment by credit card.

3.3.3. The methods of payment of deposits, balances and the price of holidays are as follows:

  • cheque,
  • credit card (Visa, Mastercard, excluding any other),
  • bank transfer,
  • cash (for an amount of less than 1,000 euros),
  • ANCV holiday vouchers

In the case of payment by ANCV holiday vouchers, these must be sent to us by post. Karellis Réservation strongly advises you to send them by registered post with proof of signature, and to write down the numbers of the holiday vouchers sent. Karellis Réservation cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of holiday vouchers.

Cheques are not accepted for payments made less than 30 days before the start of the holiday.

All payments must be made in Euros (€). The bank charges for the payment method used shall be borne by the customer, who expressly agrees to this. If the payment is not accepted, the booking is cancelled.

4. COMPLAINTS

Karellis Réservation strives to provide the most accurate information possible concerning the accommodation and services offered. The descriptions and pictures are for information only and have no contractual value. They are updated regularly. This cannot be a reason for cancellation or complaint.

Karellis Réservation shall not be held responsible for the failure of a partner (accommodation or service provider) during the holiday, cases of force majeure, acts of God, strikes or the actions of any person whose service is unrelated to the organisation of the holiday. The customer's renunciation of one or more services cannot be subject to any reimbursement or compensation by Karellis Réservation.

5. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION

5.1. TOTAL OR PARTIAL CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

Any total or partial concellation of the holiday must be sent by registered post with proof of signature to the address SACMAC Centrale de Réservations - Station les Karellis - Le Forum - 73870 Montricher-Albanne, or by email to info@karellis-reservation.com

NOTE: the date on which the cancellation request is taken into account is the date on which the insured declares the event to the central booking office, and not the date of the event triggering the cancellation. In addition to the application fee, membership fee and insurance fee, a cancellation fee will apply according to the following scales:

  • More than 60 days before the arrival date: 15% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 60 to more than 30 days before the arrival date: 30% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 30 to more than 15 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 15 to more than 7 days before the arrival date: 70% of the total price of the holiday
  • 7 days or less before the date of arrival: 100% of the total price of the holiday

Special cancellation conditions for Hotel Clubs:

As Karellis Réservation is an intermediary, the cancellation conditions for each Hotel Club are identical:

VILLAGES CLUBS DU SOLEIL

  • More than 45 days before the arrival date: 5% of the total price of the holiday
  • Between 45 and more than 30 days before the arrival date: 25% of the total price of the holiday
  • Between 30 and more than 10 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total price of the holiday
  • 10 days or less before the date of arrival: 100% of the total price of the holiday

LES CARLINES

  • More than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 45 € cancellation fee
  • From 59 to 45 days before the start of the holiday: 15% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 44 to 30 days before the start of the holiday: 30% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 29 to 15 days before the start of the holiday: 50% of the total price of the holiday
  • Less than 15 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the total price of the holiday

BALCONS DE MAURIENNE / VTF

  • From 59 to 30 days before the start of the holiday: 30% of the total price of the holiday
  • Less than 30 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the total price of the holiday

ARC-EN-CIEL

  • From 90 to 60 days before the start of the holiday: 30% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 59 to 30 days before the start of the holiday: 50% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 29 to 8 days before the start of the holiday: 75% of the total price of the holiday
  • Less than 8 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the total price of the holiday

AZUREVA

  • More than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 5% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 59 to 30 days before the start of the holiday: 15% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 29 to 15 days before the start of the holiday: 30% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 14 to 8 days before the start of the holiday: 50% of the total price of the holiday
  • Less than 8 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the total price of the holiday

ODESIA

  • From 30 to 16 days before the arrival date: 15% of the total price of the holiday
  • From 15 to 0 days before the arrival date: 100% of the total price of the holiday
5.2. CUSTOMER-INITIATED CHANGES

 Any modification is only valid after acceptance by the central booking office of an agreement formalised by the sending of a amendment or a new contract. Any change in the dates of the holiday, accommodation or ancillary services corresponds to a cancellation of the initial order (with application of the cancellation fees described above).

5.3. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY THE SUPPLIER

In the event that the booking file is modified on an essential element or cancelled by the Central Booking Office, the customer must, within 8 days of being informed in writing, either cancel the booking (in which case the customer will be reimbursed) or accept the proposed modification (written and signed reply). Failure to respond within this period shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of the change by the customer.

5.4. Tourist tax

No refunds or discounts will be given for late arrivals or early departures.

5. CANCELLATION INSURANCE

Karellis Réservation offers Multirisk Cancellation - Holiday Interruption - Slope Rescue insurance with its partner Gritchen Affinity. The cost of this insurance is 3.1% of the total amount of the holiday. You will be reimbursed the totality of the sums paid to Karellis Réservation in the event of cancellation, excluding the cost of the insurance, and according to the conditions of guarantees. It also covers you in case of interruption of your holiday and accident on the slopes (search and rescue costs, repatriation).
